Welcome to Dos Next Gen Private Limited, As India’s first MSME startup authorised in the vehicle scrapping sector, our mission goes far beyond recycling old vehicles. We’re helping reshape the country’s approach to clean mobility, circular economy, and environmental responsibility. Today, we take you through our journey—from inception to national impact—and why the Certificate of Deposit (CoD) is transforming how India scraps its past and drives into a sustainable future.
Should We Scrap Our Vehicle?
Let’s explore the deeper purpose behind this policy shift and Dos Next Gen’s pivotal role in it.
Vehicle scrapping, at its core, is about letting go of what no longer serves us—for our own benefit and that of the planet. By dismantling old, inefficient vehicles, we reduce air pollution, conserve critical natural resources, and drastically cut down on harmful emissions. But in India, this is not just an environmental necessity. It’s also an economic opportunity, especially when guided by bold policies and pioneering players like Dos Next Gen.

Our Story Begins: From State Roots to National Recognition
The year was 2018. The first signs of India’s commitment to responsible scrapping were emerging. Dos Next Gen was born in this moment of change, taking its first step at the Uttar Pradesh Investor Summit. That visibility marked the beginning of our partnership with government and industry stakeholders.
What started under State Government support would soon catch the attention of Central Government authorities, particularly as the policy framework evolved into what we now know as the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) model.
Today, our operations are rooted in Hapur, where we’re building one of the most future-ready scrapping ecosystems in the country.
When the Central Government Took the Wheel
India’s scrappage policy officially found its central voice in 2021, when the Government of India adopted a structured framework for scrapping, licensing, and certification. But Dos Next Gen had already been making moves before that in 2018. We were actively working on form designs and policy frameworks to support regional authorities, pending the final legal infrastructure required to issue licenses.
We stepped in to create what didn’t yet exist.
Our early involvement helped shape what would become the Certificate of Deposit (CoD)—a formal government-issued document that confirms a vehicle has been responsibly scrapped and deregistered. This certificate unlocks a host of incentives for vehicle owners, including tax benefits, registration discounts, and more.
While Certificate of Vehicle Scrapping (CVS) exists too, it is the CoD that plays a critical role in the economic empowerment of vehicle owners. And it is CoD that Dos Next Gen proudly champions.
Regulation, Environment, and the Role of NGT
As cities grow and climate conversations intensify, the need for environmentally responsible systems becomes urgent. Our collaboration with regulatory bodies—especially the Delhi Transport Department and our alignment with the National Green Tribunal (NGT) underscore our mission.
NGT’s focus on environmental taxes and pollution reduction shaped many parts of the policy landscape we now operate within. The CoD, in that sense, is not just a document—it’s a testament to a greener India
Why It All Matters: Awareness, Policy & Purpose
India’s vehicle scrappage policy isn’t just a law—it’s a movement. A movement grounded in the following truths:
- Older vehicles = higher pollution.
- Recycling = resource conservation.
- Scrapping = lower emissions.
But policies need people. Dos Next Gen exists to bridge that gap—between regulation and public awareness, between incentives and individual choices. We’ve seen firsthand how awareness campaigns, government incentives, and clear certification processes can change the trajectory of both industry and environment.
We’re not just scrapping metal. We’re rewriting India’s approach to sustainability.

Looking Forward
As the first startup in India’s scrappage ecosystem to be government-authorised and centrally aligned, Dos Next Gen stands not only as a recycler but as a responsible nation-builder. One Certificate of Deposit at a time, we’re helping vehicle owners make informed decisions that benefit them and the planet.
Final Word
Whether you’re a vehicle owner wondering what to do with your old car, a policymaker interested in sustainable regulation, or a citizen concerned about air quality—Dos Next Gen is your partner in progress.
This is just the beginning. The road ahead is long, but with CoD in hand and purpose in heart, India is moving forward. Responsibly. Boldly. And green.
